== Overview == Dianic Wicca developed in the context of feminist spirituality and modern Paganism, especially in the United States during the 1970s. It varies considerably by group. Some forms focus exclusively on the Goddess and women-centered ritual, while others are broader Goddess traditions. Because of debates around gender inclusion, individual Dianic groups may differ sharply in membership policy and theology.
